It's okay: It's a meeting point, and our monthly meetings are what I concentrate more on, than the venue. There's definitely more to this building that the parts I visit. The town library appears to be here, for instance. They have plenty of reconfigurable chairs & tables, and a good number of powerpoints, although I recommend bringing short (5-10m) extension leads with you if you have a lot of computer gear with you, as you'll typically want to use it on tables in the centre of the room. If you want to have tea & coffee, you'll have to bring it yourself, although I think they have a kettle available, and there's a handy small table and socket at the right height, set up ready. The windows provide good light without passers-by being able to see in. It can get a bit chilly sometimes, so you may want to bring a fan heater along, if you're meeting outside of Summer. Good road link, public transport dicey, plenty of accommodation etc nearby in the pleasant small town, although it looks more like a village to me, and of course our old venue RNAS Yeovil, is just up the road. Nearest Rail station is Yeovil Pen Mill.

My partner and I held our joint 80th birthday party at the town hall which is an excellent venue with fabulous food prepared & served by the caretaker Julie Stapleton and her team of helpers.

Great location in this ancient town of Lendiniae.
