We are missing Paulo and the team heaps, so ordered pizza and pasta for a collection from Il Paradiso.As usual food was fantastic with clean plates all round. It was great to be able to show support to them during lockdown and can't wait to see them all and soak up the atmosphere when they reopen

Superb from start to finish, enthusiastic and energetic staff see to your every need. The food is excellent, simple and incredibly tasty. The decor, like the restaurant, is rustic and busy. The owner/head chef took the time to visit every table, and the final bill, VERY reasonable. In fact I'm thinking of going again tomorrow...
Amazing food, the manzetta was delicious. The service was excellent with genuine Italian charm. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
Food is just the best, I had the fillet steak which is the best steak Ive had anywhere, including specific steak restaurants. Starters were good too especially the Melanzane al forno and venti salad. It feels a little rushed and thrown at your table when you arrive but the food was unforgettable.
If someone had taken a piece of Italy and plonked it in the middle of York this would be it. Loud and lively it feels like eating in a noisy kitchen. People stop at the door just to chat. The portions are huge and the plates even bigger. The specials are amazing, a diverse range that's almost extensive as the menu. Would go back for sure..
