Just passing by yesterday and needed something to keep me going. Love a sausage roll so I got one from here. I hesitated when I saw it was 3.90 for a standard sized roll. Went for it as I thought it must be good for that price....literally tasted of nothing. Mostly pastry and the sausage part i would describe as bland as you get. Super disappointing. Having read another review about the sausage rolls the owner says they are bought in from another bakery.

Visited this cafe, as I was out for the day in the area both seeing the Garden Centre nearby and walking on the Thames Path - a very nippy Sunday in late November. Everything was fine about the cafe, apart from the cost! I bought a Toasted Ham & Cheese Croissant, Small Cappuccino and a Jam Doughnut (which you could grab yourself via self-service). It cost 8.15 altogether which I felt was rather pricy - nevertheless food-quality wise, excellent and felt very Italian - also there was a small shop inside to purchase Italian products and a great variety of pastries/delicacies to buy. They only allowed 3 people in at a time - social distancing was managed well.

We stopped in yesterday for a sausage roll, cappuccino and tumeric latte. Together it came to an eye watering 10. The coffee was lovely but the tumeric latte tasted like boiled milk and the sausage roll was very bland and greasy. Would recommend for coffee but avoid the food.

Good range of hearty salads e.g. lentil and feta, roasted root veg, grilled aubergine and pepper. Helpful service, very good antiCovid hygiene.

I enjoy the coffee here. Very friendly staff and every 10th coffee is free. Lots of outside seating. Many sandwiches, pasta dishes, fresh juices, and pastries. Nice vibe.
