This has been an truly great experience. We were there for the New Year's Eve dinner. We had local dishes, with simple concepts and very high quality. They treated us very warmly and provided nice recommendations, including the local Maltese red wine. Excellent experience.

Great service food was fantastic. Highly recommend the canoli sweet ricotta and rabbit which were both fantastic. The fish of the day was seabream for us which was also really good. Definitely worth a visit if in Valetta.
Beautiful food and service! Pricey, but definately worth it. Reached by a huge lift almost as high as the Shard, it felt like some space age transporter, actually taking us back in time to ancient Valletta. Arrived by water bus, a fantastic way to travel there at night! After our delicious meal, the chef came and chatted with us. Then we were shown the underground well, below the restaurant by the waitress. Amazing! I would recommend dining in this little gem.
A gem in the middle of the narrow streets of Valletta.You couldn't miss their rabbit Stew, done with wine and cooked for hours.
This restaurant is exceptional. The building is beautiful and historical, the owner has an impressive wine collection and the service is friendly and professional. They source a lot of their produce from a local farm so have a wide knowledge of the ingredients and the waitress even farms the honey they use. The menu was traditional and the food cooked perfectly, they also add some special touches that really make a difference. This restaurant is run by someone who really knows what they're doing and has a lot of passion and skill. We spent a week in Malta seeking out the top recommend restaurants on the island and this was our favourite. It was also great value, we ate poorer meals for more money while we were there.
Spectacularly delicious and cozy restaurant featuring perfectly prepared local ingredients and the most friendly and professional service imaginable. By the end of the evening I kind of wanted to move in. Creative dishes of just the right size and complexity to show off the ingredients. Cheese, honey, etc made by the chef or friends of the chef. Adorable. A bit of a splurge but not nearly as expensive as it feels or tastes. I've eaten all over the world and will remember this meal always.
With all the tourist-focused restaurants in Valetta this restaurant was such a find. We got there before it opened and the hostess was lovely enough to let us in early as she opened and the service and food only got better from there. Fresh delicious local dishes, solid bread and an excellent wine list. If you're seated downstairs look through the back \window\ into the caverns below.
