As the rest of the reviews go, the place is a total rip off due to the fact that he feels he has a monopoly over the industry in ignace. Got a tire rotation done outside using 2 floor jacks no jack stands no hoist and was charged 100.00 (average price 30-50) and he did not even use a real torque wrench just a breaker bar to torque the tires. If you are not in desperate need of service, keep driving.

Never go to this guy! Called him and asked him what he was charging to change the rim and torque the tire. He was very rude and said "you got to be (f-word) kidding me" and just hangs up on me. It's people like this grump who give others a bad name. I cant understand how some people try so hard NOT to get business. I guess he's good at something. I GIVE HIM 0 STARS.
We're from Saskatchewan. The older guy looked at our vehicle and told us everything out home town guy did wrong and why our tire blew. Tried his hardest not to charge us for his services. Sweet man. Also a very homey shop. Also saved our other tire from blowing. He caught it before we even did

Coasted into Ignace with 2 young kids, after a 20 hr drive on the way to Dryden. Called this guy for HELP, after telling me I was "not very bright for leaving thunder bay with no gas" he did tell me pumps are left on at the esso after hrs, thank you for that. But next time, a word of advice, as a family is in need, there is no need to belittle or scrutinize poor planning, you have no idea what our situation was or what is going on in anyone's life! As a towing company you should be committed to helping vehicles in need period, no questions asked.
Had a fuel line leak on a Sunday, called and came in, they couldn't get to us because it was late but said they'd get to us first thing in the morning. Spent the night down the road, he got to it right in the morning and sent us on our way. Friendly, helpful people, explained everything going on to us and answered all our questions. Reasonable rates, didn't try to upsell us or put anything by us.
Coming back from Kenora, my friends and I stopped in Ignace to get a burger, but ended up accidentally locking our keys in the car. We asked Nelson for help. Well, he showed up, took one look at the situation and left with no explanation. We ended up going back to his shop and asking him for help again. He was very rude and laughed at our predicament. He told us he left the first time because too many people were around. Eventually, he came back and opened up the car. He charged us over 100 dollars. 1/10 would not recommend.
Very expensive. Tire retorque over 50 dollars and the guy never even used a torque wrench. Cheaper to buy a torque wrench. Never go there again. He must of noticed the Alberta license plates and thought ‘he must have lots of money.’
