been going to cozy camp for the last few years and every time i'm there the fishing and the scenery is always awesome.
Derek and Heather go out of their way to make sure everyone has a fantastic experience. We caught our fill of fish! They made more boats available to us immediately when we had more people in our group wanting to go out, checked in regularly to make sure we were doing good, and told us how to boat to a beautiful waterfall with an island for the kids to explore! Can't say enough good things about this place, it's a must for anyone wanting to experience Northwestern Ontario at it's most beautiful. For sure planning a fall hunting getaway later this year there :)
Awesome people and great location! Had a great time this weekend. Derek was very helpful and put us on fish fast. If you want as many walleyes as you can eat this is the place to go!

After fishing with great success at Cozy Camp for several years with my uncle and cousin’s, a couple of us decided to try bear hunting. Two of us took the last two tags available in 11/17 for the 18 season (book early!)By Sunday night both my cousin and I had great bears (290 and 330lbs) and spent the rest of the week filling our bellies and freezer with fish! Cozy Camp has great facilities and prices. Give them a call you won’t be disappointed!
Cozy Camp offers access to miles of the fished-stuffed English River as well as to Barrel Lake. Heather and Derek are wonderful hosts and the camp is well maintained and outfitted. I caught plenty of walleye, mainly 14-18 inches but several at 20 inches and 1 at 27 inches. Throw in some big smallmouth, several large Northern Pike, beautiful scenery and enjoy a wonderful week of fishing at Cozy Camp!
We spent a week here in August ‘18. The land is absolutely beautiful and to see otters, eagles, and moose was just truly amazing. The owners Heather and Derek went out of their way several times to make sure we had a great time (and catch lots of fish!). The 26 hour trip to Ignace was well worth it! This location is perfect for everyone! We will definitely be coming back every year!
