Another great restaurant to add on my list of frequent visits. To start my main reason for going here is the lobster. It is tough to find a good 1.25 or 2.5 pound lobsters BOILED with butter around Rhode Island. Always comes out perfect and comes with soup or salad and two sides. The stuffies are another delicious appetizer my wife and I usually enjoy. The staff is always nice. Make sure you call ahead due to limited seating, and just always busy down by Oakland Beach! Definitely recommend for the whole family!

I had dinner with my family and was disappointed. We had a family come after us and got their meal first. They even ended up with our bread that we requested. The shrimp scampi sauce looked liked chicken broth instead of garlic sauce. Our appetizer was burnt. The lobster in the Mac and cheese was not cut up in chucks but served in whole pieces. We didn't bother complaining cause it was complete disregard. We won't be going back.
Many trips to Iggy's over the years and today we opted to try the Boardwalk venue. My son is home from VA and he asked to eat here during the trip. We enjoyed clam cakes, Clam Chowder, and Lobster Bisque! The quality is the food and flavor was only exceeded by our server! Please drop in and Dani will take the same care of you as well!!!
I had lunch at Iggy's Boardwalk while visiting relatives in Providence, RI. The beachfront setting is idyllic for a family or date dinner. The menu is varied, offering both meat lover's and seafood lover's favorites. I chose a baked lobster, stuffed with shrimp and other delicacies. It was made simply, with delicate seasoning, allowing the freshness to come through. The side dishes (butternut squash puree and green beans amandine) were perfect and colorful complements to the lobster. Other dishes, like broiled salmon and shrimp scampi were also brought to the table. Everyone was happy and not a single negative adjective was uttered. However, the shining star of our time at Iggy's was not the food (which was delicious), but the attentive and friendly service provided by our waitress Kylie. She was always there when we needed her, without ever becoming intrusive. Recommended!
Monday evening and I was craving seafood. Heard good things about Iggy's so I stopped by. Iggy's Boardwalk had an hour wait for a table but I could sit at the bar and get full service. And I did. Samantha was an excellent waitress and bartender. I had the baked seafood platter with green beans almondine and butternut squash. Everything was delicious. Definitely will be back. And they are taking COVID-19 seriously. In addition to the usual methods they have movable plexiglass shields to socially distance unrelated patrons.
