It is a cool place with the best waffles in Ieper. The milk with chocolate is awesome.

Perfect for a quick bite! Very friendly staff. Reasonable prices. You can take away almost everything on the menu. Small outdoor seating with a view on the Market Square. It's a bistro, not a restaurant so don't expect fries, steak, mussels, etc. Make sure to place your order at the cashier but everything is brought to your table.
Located opposite the Lakenhallen it is an ideal place to eat before visiting the Flanders Field museum. We had the Green Machine and mad berry smoothies, both very tasty. With the smoothies we also had a croque monsieur and a very copious Caesar Salad; lots of chicken and cheese and bacon. Service was fast and very friendly. You have to order and pay inside and then they bring whatever you’ve ordered to your outside table.
The waffle is extremely typical of a traditional Belgium waffle. It had deep groves to adequately hold your condiments and toppings. The waffle itself was crunchy on the outside yet still soft on the inside. For the price point of the meal and the accompanying service it is was extremely well priced.
delicious and good food for what you pay, also the smoothies are a recommendation. why 4 starts: there is a lot of space to sit, but in the back of the restaurant its not that pleasant to sit, just because its a bit dark (all the decorations are good on the otherhand )
Fell into this place after there were no tables at Captain Cook (and they were rude). We had a lovely simple meal that wasn't costly
Although my meal was a quarter of an hour delayed once the food arrived it was delicious!
Humble to look at but the food is great and about half the price of most of the locations on the square around it - with friendly staff too.
