Fantastic restaurant which is located just along from the Menin gate. Great place to have dinner before going to watch the last post ceremony. The portions are quite large so we were full after just one course. I had the chicken with mushroom sauce and chips which was delicious. They have a decent number of vegetarian options. My friend enjoyed his tomato and ricotta ravioli. Service is quick and friendly. We were in and out of the restaurant in 45 minutes with time to spare to get to the gate in time for the ceremony.
A fabulous place steak cooked to my liking. Great service and beers. Good venue for parties with vegetarians.
Can recommend the Flemish stew. Staff are lovely and fluent English speaking. Very attentive and reasonably priced. Would definitely come again.
I normally only rate things to complain, but every night we stayed in Ypres we ate here. The service, food, setting and price are all fantastic. Could do with a better beer selection (Paschendale on tap would be a godsend), but its honestly fantastic

We like this place.....portions are big. Try the chicken with a mushroom sauce. The staff always accommodate even if you haven't booked. Literally minutes from the Menin gate it's ideal for a pre or post service meal.
The staff is so lovely and kind, great service. I had a pizza, it was really good. Def. A place to go for a nice dinner in Ypers. Prices are better compared to the restaurants on the market itself.
