I had a problem recently with the inlet valve on the toilet cistern so much so that it constantly filled the cistern and overflowed into the dump valve so replaced with a Torbeck filling valve bought from Ideal plumbing some months ago. It's a bottom feed so water off and removed cistern, replaced valve & put cistern back. Had struggle connecting flexi hose as it was a short length. Problem was a teardrop leak either from compression nut on the hose or from worn rubber seals on the fixing bolts that secure the cistern to the pedestal. On Monday after debating whether to get a plumber I popped to Ideal with the cistern hose and valve & spoke with Paul and Tony & within 5 mins had a new longer flexi hose and bolt & washer set & great advice, all for 8.90! With the new hose and bolts/rubber seals fitted the toilet flushes better than ever. So thanks to Ideal Plumbing for saving the day & saving me 's. Great service & advice as usual from these guys! We used ideal plumbing for a new bath and vanity unit. The lads that fitted the bathroom were polite and respectfull. They did a perfect job and left my home and bathroom spotless. They are a credit to the company .
