The best Sunday dinners we have had in years
I have been to this place several times and it has been great, but tonight I thought I would treat myself to a Terry’a chocolate orange milkshake, my friend also ordered an Oreo milkshake. We had always had the same woman making ours but this time it was a man. He was clearly new because when we asked for whipped cream he said “what’s that” ridiculous!! My friends milkshake arrived first and she said to me “the milkshake is so lumpy” but I thought it was just a one off but when mine arrived I took the first sip and a large piece of it stuck in my throat and it didn’t taste as strong as usual. The entire way home I was attempting to stir it and I couldn’t because of the lumps!! I thought it wasn’t that bad but when I got 3/4 of the way done it revealed the entire bar was at the bottom!! We were shocked and decided to call up. The man who made our milkshakes answered and he told us that I could come down to the shop and get another milkshake - free of charge should I add. When we got there we took the milkshake and showed them. The woman said “oh we thought you were going to bring the milkshake so we could thin it out for you” and explained that the chocolate orange was hard to blend and when we said “well we were told we were getting a free milkshake” the woman said “well he isn’t the gaffa” absolutely pathetic!! Won’t be going back!!
