This particular Iceland store is is not a clean looking one and doesnt make you want to go in. I only went to this store in Bishop Auckland as my son wanted domething specific and I was driving passed this store anyway. From mow on I will make sure i travel to my regular iceland store which is much more accommodating to the eye. The holes in the car park were horrendous and very unsafe to manovour around from my wheelchair, we parked in the disabled bay next to the doorway.This was a very untidy store and dirty looking from the doorway which didnt get any better in doors, there was lots ot rubbish on the floor and items of fruit on the floor too. One of the aisles had a few loading trolleys in it which made manovouring and getting to see what was in the fridges very difficult. When I eventually got.to the till we had to ask someone to come to it and although im in a wheelchair the staff member didnt make any effort to move to the wider aisled till for us,so while my husband had to unpack the trolley and start to pack alone while I had to wheel round the tills to get to the corner one which is so not wide enough for wheelchairs.I couldnt even use the card payment machine as i coulrnt get near my hubby had to use my.card for.me then i had to wheel out in reverse untill i got to the main doorway again.worst iceland ive been in.shocking for such a large retail group.
