One of the most beautiful cultural institution in Romania, no doubt!

Magnificent place! I had a chance to enjoy two musicals in Romanian National Opera Iasi. Although the plays were in Romanian and French, I still received a great sense of satisfaction and pleasure. All inner space and ornaments are decorated in real gold. When there is a break between parts of the play, there is a chance to take pictures with vintage dresses and costumes. Prices are acceptable for all kind of budgets. Even if you are short of time or money, you can still visit and explore this beautiful place for just 5 lei during any day (only of rehearsals are not taken place). If you are a history, architecture or theatre lover, I 100% recommend to visit and enjoy the beauty of Romanian National Opera Iasi!

It was very nice, aciuatic is wonderful and the room is superb. Seats are available every two seats so you can be distanced from other people.

A very interesting place. It's in same time the place where artist from Opera play and the artists from Theatre share the same stage. The hall is a piece of art and you are overwhelmed by emotions. You can discover here some awesome costumes of the most played shows.

The second theater in the world that beauty is the National Theater in Iasi. At least that's according to a top made for British television BBC. And the company is one click; Besides theater '' Vasile Alecsandri '' is famous Hippodrome Bristol in the UK, Teatro La Fenice in Venice or Gariner Palais in Paris. National Theater in Iasi was designed by two Viennese architects now more than 100 years. In the beginning it functioned under the Direction of Costache Negruzzi, Alecsandri and Mihail Kogalniceanu, receiving in 1956 the poet Alecsandri. The interior is fabulous, amazing original paintings and sculptures, lights and colors sensational.
