Fantastic Orthodox cathedral that is dedicated to Saint Parascheva (the cathedral also holds the saint's relics), the presentation of Jesus and Saint George. It's also the largest historical Orthodox church in Romania.

A place I enjoyed, looks very nice and has a different air than other places i have been. You can also see the old building that was the church in the past, it is beautiful. Keep in mind to arm yourself with patience, usually here is a bit crowded.

This place does not require any comments Is the centre of spirituality of Moldova (Romanian Moldova) you need to see for yourself. In September it becomes one of the busiest pilgrimage places in the entire Europe and in the space of just a few days tens of thousands pray and visit the human remains of St. Parascheva, or how the saint is named by the people... Saint Friday. Is a real reigious phenomenon that you need to experience and it needs explained by a person from inside... do not get your information from outside sources, they want only to get readers and they are less honest or aware about the truth. People really pray to this saint and i am a proof of that.
