A very good place for quick lunch. Thali is normally good. They have different styles. Not specific to Hyderabad dishes. Menu names are too complicated to understand. It becomes hard sometimes. Food: 4/5 Ambience: 2/5 Staff: 3/5
I have been to many south indian special places, and every one is specialized in any one or two states, with their common dishes, where as when I visited Simply south for the first time, I found the menu exemplary with all thr south Indian states included with best of them. Apart from that the taste is good and food seems some what fresh. So giving stars for tasty food. Reduced stars for poor maintenance of restaurant and un tidy kitchen and work place also poor service quality and lack of information of food available there.
It's OK. That's what my recent experience (second one actually) was all about. Food quality OK, ambiance OK, service and value for money not so OK, in fact we thought if we would have left, it won't be even recognized. The concept of \Simply South\ is just amazing but someone from Management really needs to look at ground reality. Hopefully next time (not sure about visit though) the experience changes from OK to Great!
I would name this place as one of my favourite. The food is served so fresh but at the cost of time. The homely feels and old looks is this place signature. I recommend you to visit this place at least once. Great Place Great Food
