Simple hike to do with great views.
Perfect place!
Splendid 3 hours hike (roundway) starting from Tvøroyri. Not only one can appreciate the breathtaking view from the cliffs, but also the little lake at the end is a perfect place to have a little rest, surrounded by sheep & birds. While most people walk back the same way as they used to arrive to the lake, it‘s possible to continue around a little fence to get up onto the cliffs and enjoy a spectacular view. Highly recommended if you are in Suðuroy.
Fantastic hike! One of the best
Stunningly beautiful nature area, with a lake surrounded by mountains, and view of the islands Lítli Dímun and Stóri Dímun. A relatively easy walk from Tvøroyri. This is a place you can visit again and again, without growing tired of it. One of the most beautiful places in the Faroe Islands, for sure.
