oh my gosh this place is a gem! if youblike history please do yourself a favor and visit this beautifully preserved historical home. the curator is ironically southern and gave the best tour. engaged with those taking the tour and answered all questions....she should serve her sweet tea after the tour when giving the kitchen building viewing. admission only 5.00 (cash only) but would easily pay 10.00. I loved visiting this home! will bring out of town guests.

The 10:30 tour is totally worth doing. The director of the museum gave it. She was very knowledgeable about the house as well as Huntsville itself. She is also a very good story teller. I have middle school kids who learned a lot and really enjoyed themselves.
