We have one hours travel to Louth and always make sure a visit co-insides with a meal time. Hunters really is worth the wait,customer service 100% even with the current situation. Food is always perfect,comes in take away boxes so ideal to buy and take to Hubbard's hills and enjoy there.

Great service, one of the best fish and chips we've had in a long time. Pies great, onion rings are the best and kid meals are HUGE! Excellent price too.

Stopped off for fish and chips- delighted with the food and the service. They opened bang on 4 as it said on the sign (we were ready and hungry) we got served really quickly and the batter and chips were so lovely and crisp on the outside. Delicious food. Nicely packed in cardboard boxes too so easy to eat and good for recycling. Staff were also really helpful and pleasant. As a treat we even went back in and got icecream... incredible selection of flavours in little pits made by a local dairy!
In the running for the best fish & chips in Louth now, not least because they open on Sundays, use cardboard boxes (not polystyrene) and are now quite quick serving (when they first opened serving times were pretty slow, but this has changed a lot since). Fish is consistently good and fresh, tends to be heavy on the batter (but that's how Brits generally like it). They'll customize stuff to your preference if you ask. Note: cash only. This trips a lot of people up but there is an ATM literally 30 metres away.
