This cafe was a real find because of good food, service, location and that they allow dogs in certain areas so customers can choose to take dogs in or you can sit away from the dog area if that's not your thing. The owner was very nice and brought over a dog bowl to our puppy who was tied up at the table. They also allowed me to buy a slice of ham for the dog as we chose to eat the baked camembert with red onion marmalade and lots of cake for afters. They even have a menu of flavoured teas. It was all delicious. I was driving north and looking for a stop better than a service station so thought I'd try the town of Brackley just off the A43 before getting on the M1 and it is lovely. I highly recommend this instead of service stations.
Afternoon Tea delivered to our front door as a favour from my Brother in law. Because of the Pandemic, the Bistro is delivering these fabulous food treats. The service was excellent. The sandwiches were fresh & light & delightful, with a variety of fillings. The Scones were great (although Marie my partner put the jam & cream on in the Devonshire way & not the right way as in the Cornish method). I would thoroughly recommend Hummingbird.
