Story Street GP Walk-in Centre

After being told by NHS 111 to contact this practice because I was in a lot of pain I contacted this centre as instructed. I then had an unpleasant experience on the phone with somebody who after asking me a few questions told me that she only treats really ill people and that wasn’t me. I understand that the medical profession is difficult and tiring and this person may have been at the end of a really tiring bad day. However when a patient in pain is directed to contact your service they shouldn’t be treat with a derogatory tone and inconsiderate manner.

Wow. There is a lady in there resembling Claudia Winkleman. Drop dead gorgeous and takes no hostages with her Scottish accent. Unbelievable.

Amazing place - quick telephone call then a 10 minute visit with a lovely nurse - so much easier than trying to persuade a GP's receptionist to give you an appointment

I have visited half a dozen times seen a mix of female/ male doctors who have shown caring & professionalism. I recommend them. No problem.

It is never possible to make a normal medical appointment. With an ear infection, I was offered an appointment in seven days. This has been the case for at least 3 years.
