Ordered comics online at a reasonable price, but they arrived damaged. I contacted the store several times and the gentleman didn't seem interested. I had to chase him up a number of times to get it resolved. In the end I got a refund, but poor customer service throughout my experience with Amazing Fantasy.

We used to go to amazing fantasy a lot we used to buy the lucky dip bags of comics but they stopped doing them, it was the best way to get comics cheap if you didn't mind what you got. You can also get comic sleeves and storage boxes for them. I wish I knew that before I ordered some online the ones in store were cheaper

As Hull's only comic shop, I can't fault it. Huge stock of graphic novels, quite decent back issues in long boxes around, regular new sets of Marvel and DC and Image and recent books on sale for a pound is a great idea, thanks guys! I'd suggest they could try to be a bit friendlier to younger comics readers, I've been in with the kids and wasn't treated particularly well, in fact quite rudely. I imagine that's down to probably having a few ropey rudeboys in through the door over the years. I'd like to see some silver age on display on the walls or a larger back issue collection to browse through, but otherwise it's a great place if you like comics and live in East Yorkshire. Excelsior!
