Was not as advertised. Our room was not Victorian theme like is boasted online. Not even a coffee maker or fridge in the room. Did not have any privacy and the patio to our room was shared with the front of the hotel. We were not happy and decided not to stay as it ruined the romantic feel of our valentines weekend especially since we could hear our upstairs neighbors talking and their hot tub. I wrote the hotel the next day and they have yet to answer my email.

Very comfortable bed, huge bathtub, breakfast including eggs, which were fantasticly prepared. Very cozy, we enjoyed our visit in the middle of winter. Right across from Queensland beach. Perfect winter escape from the city.

These guys create a special, friendly and beautiful atmosphere. We celebrated my husband's bday and it was really remarkable, food was very delicious, especially seafood chowder, I would say -the best in NS, and chocolate cheesecake. Thanks for those remarkable moments!

My sister and I were cycling the rum runner trail from Halifax and this was day one stop on our journey. The accommodations were conveniently located, just a short distance off the trail. We were welcomed at reception by a very friendly sweet young lady. The room was clean and comfy, supper was amazing, my sister had the mussels and I had the seafood chowder, so tasty. Dessert was an experience in itself, chocolate cheese cake and bread pudding. Breakfast was equally as satisfying, I just had yogurt, fresh fruit and a bagel. Omelettes, French toast and eggs Benedict was also on offer but seriously a person can only eat so much. I would highly recommend this place.

Awesome experience! Rooms are unique with lots of character! The honeymoon suite was beautiful and the hot tub was very nice. The food was amazing. The best bread pudding I have ever had. Even the coffee is awesome. Lots of attention to details and attention paid to us to make sure our stay was exceptional!

We had booked at the last minute so we were not able to have a room facing the water since they were full. This was not a problem since we were still able to hear the ocean but had a view of the woods. Sasha was a wonderful chef and cooked our eggs at breakfast just right. We also had dinner there for 2 nights and it was delicious. We were able to eat either in the dining room or out on the deck. It was nice to have a choice. The room we had was big enough for the two of us and the ensuite was as big as any chain of hotel. Both Sasha and Serge were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed talking to them. The hotel was in close proximity to all the sites, but allowed you to relax in the evening. If we are ever in the area again, this is where we would stay.
