One of the beautiful places in CR, close to Prague

The history about this #Chateau is intriguing and is quite interesting how it stands till date despite the countless transfer of ownership. You have to admire the collection and listen to the story about each room at the same time, once the tour guide is done talking, you have move to the next room with the door locked behind you.
The smaller part or Old location, it has a gallery, muesum, a hospital and a police station within the grounds
If you are around, drop in. The big adjacent condos really kill the 'castle' atmosphere

Chateau Hořovice has been build at the end of the 17th century. Inside there some nice interiors, the entrance hall, chapel and great hall are particularly beautiful. They have done great job at restoring some of the rooms to what they originally looked like based on historic paintings which you can also see there to compare. Unfortunately the guide was not very good.
Nice park to walk
Nicely restored castle with a nice garden where you can have a private picnic.
