The Hoxa gallery is well worth a visit for anyone interested in pictorial art, craft and, particularly tapestry. The tapestries on show are stunningly beautiful. What amazing design and work! I also enjoyed the paintings very much. They reflect the local environment and are interesting and skillful. There are framed and unframed prints of the tapestries and artworks available to buy. We were made very welcome. Definitely recommended.
Interesting to see if you are out that way. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but the designs were not to my taste, frankly a bit dull. No transparency about tapestry prices, small rugs generally in the 1,000-2,000 range, which seems a bit pricey since they have semi-automated the manufacturing process. You can also buy prints of tapestries for a couple of hundred pounds. No photos allowed in the gallery.

Stunning work, beautiful location - fantastic to be able to meet the artists and see the looms as well as work in progress. Lovely to meet the owner and artist who took their time to speak about their work. Thoroughly recommend a visit. Prints and original work are available as well as cards - deeply inspiring visit, very jealous of the wonderful studio and stunning location (one day ), will definitely revisit.
