Consistently excellent, nice crispy gold batter. Tried many fish and chip shops over the years, this place comes top of the list, blows competition out of the water. Make no wonder it has been owned by the same family for decades, they certainly know how to make proper traditional fish and chips, good stuff

Was my grans go to place for fish and chips and usually they are really nice. Just don’t go 15 mins before their ‘close time’ otherwise you won’t get served, because they are ‘closed.’ Should put their close time 15 mins before they actually turn the lights off because they aren’t serving customers up until that time.

Got a fish butty over priced and very very dry , bread cake was chewy definitely won't be returning very disappointed and the staff didn't even bother asking if i wanted salt&vinegar and looked miserable as sin
