Best cigar shop in town, still open but short times. Staff always friendly and helpful.
This is far and away the best tobacconist in Brighton & Hove. A very wide selection of pipe tobacco, both bulk and tinned. The staff are always very helpful and the prices are (for a brick and mortar shop)very reasonable. In addition to the pipes, accessories & pipe tobacco, they also sell cigarettes, rolling tobacco, snuff, and cigars - all of which are present here in multiple varieties. If you are a pipe or cigar smoker, they have a tasting room and also sell some premium spirits. Whilst it's often easier to use online services, especially in these Covid-ravaged times, if I'm in the area and the shop is open, I often take the opportunity to pop in. If you are a fan of any of their bulk blends, the Havana House website can supply by post if needed. When this place was the original Burkitts, it had much more of an olde-worlde feel, but HH took it over quite a while ago, and modernised the place without losing the charm that it always had. A lot of the low-star reviews seem to be about the shop being closed recently (within the ast 9 months) when people thought it was open. The reality is that Covid-19 has caused havoc with a lot of shops and their opening times. If you are concerned about whether the shop is open or not, and don't want to take a potentially wasted journey why not give them a phone call and ask?
Was gutted after driving over a hour to have a look and get some cigars the shop was closed. After checking online on there website the shop was stated to be open was gutted I will not come back to this shop. If you want a reliable Cigar shop look on Bond Street was amazing ,helpful and open. Gutted it was a Saturday that we went up
Quintessentially Victorian English, wide variety and deep range of cigars both in strength type, brand and geographical origin. Service is excellent and you get the opportunity of taking away another excellent variety of rum, whiskey and of course cognac to go with your cigar. My favourite humidor in the South coast of Britain so far.
