We are a supported scheme running a 24/7 service for 33 individuals with multiple and complex needs. We have been using Hanover Care for over a decade now. Hanover supplies us with staff for both day and night shifts, covering night assistant roles, support workers, and project assistants. We are able to utilise Hanover Care staff in order to cover long term absences, holidays, delays in recruitment and emergency same day cover. The quality of staff that Hanover Care provides us has been consistently high over the years, in fact we have transferred a number of Hanover Care staff into our permanent team. Our account manager James has full knowledge of our service and what our high expectations are of the staff he provides. He is able to select staff for us that he knows will suit the longer night shifts, and staff that are more suited to the complex support worker roles. I am able to call James at short notice with the knowledge that he will do everything possible to assist us in getting the cover we need. Hanover provides a polite and consistent customer service, reliable accounting, and are able to deal with any issues arising in a professional and timely manner. Having an agency that is local to us and that understands our needs has definitely made my job easier over the years.

Hanover Care are a fantastic agency I am truly grateful for the staff that they have sent my way and their professionalism and work attitude has been beyond impressive. The reason I used Hanover initially was because it was so difficult to recruit and I really wanted great as its what people so deserve but I couldn’t do it with all the challenges. Meeting with James and all the support he has given the team has been refreshing and help to find me suitable skilled staff whilst also supplying me some staff to look at permanent positions. Having the same faces promoting consistency and quality . The staff sent have been such a credit to you. James you are great at your job and we value all your support and hard work to help us. I found out today that you dropped of eggs for the people we support.. such a lovely touch and what in my opinion stands your agency out from the rest. Thank you James and all at Hanover Care from me and team Wilbury xx

worked for them for a very short time last year (3 months). found them a bit rude and too fast when they are calling you, like you are just a number. let's say you are at the gym or on shift and you can't answer the phone, you lose your shift within 3 seconds. they recruit way too much people and there's not enough job for everyone. at the registration, they will tell you that they work for the council and they have numerous shifts there, which somehow it doesn't seem to happen. they cancel your shifts quite often and don't give you an alternative for the hours you lost. there are plenty of more friendly agencies in Sussex, which perhaps you should consider before Hanover Care.
