As a kiddo I had some trouble in school when I was very young. My very loving parents spent a lot of money to figure out what was going on. They paid Dr. Williamson to evaluate me for ADHD. (As an adult I know I never had ADHD, it was anxiety.) From K-12 I took, Ritalin, Strattera, or Adderall EVERY morning. Those drugs also suppress appetite very strongly. As an adult I wake up feeling nauseous every morning. I could barely finish an apple and a banana before noon today. I feel hunger, but the nausea is stronger. I wish I knew how to fix my appetite. I've never shared this, but I know I can't go on like this and other parents need to know. ADHD is hugely overdiagnosed in the states and the consequences of a decade essentially using speed have been pretty massive.
