Once in a lifetime experience to experience the glory days of the Apollo missions. Behind the scenes access to the control centre floor, where we got to sit at the actual control panels.

Always been a science nerd. So this trip was worth the long queues

I got to take my dad here when he was in town. He'd always been a science nerd and this was a kind of fulfillment for him. I'm so glad I got to be a reason for him to go. Besides that, I had fun walking around being philosophical and remembering when I seriously wanted to be an astronaut. ...and the gift shop is decent.

NASA Mission control center tour was a great learning experience on the space missions. The prototype and model modules will help us to understand the 'how the control system works'. The tram tour to Mission control center was a great experience where you can see the real time status of various satellites including international space station.

Worth checking out if your in the Houston area. A bit of a drive out of the downtown area but that's what you'd expect. I would also suggest getting there for when it opens if you don't want to wait in a big line for a tour. We went on a weekday, but it seems like lots of field trips happen here so it was busy... Really interesting place to check out, it's amazing what they've accomplished and its a really well maintained and laid out place. There were tours of the campus and astronaut center, and lots of interactive exhibits. You can also look at rockets and even go inside an old one. Would suggest at least 4 hours here.

Wonderful place, take the tour and see all you can. I love space and anything related and will now share my photo from 1996 when I was 16.
