Houston City Personnel is the job recruiting agency that any and all job seeking individuals should consider. The staff is very professional, they are careful to place potential employees with the right potential employer. While we are all trying to get along during the COVID-19 battle, this company remained poised, solid, consistent and resistant to the issues and complications brought about as a result of the pandemic. I am truly grateful for Jenna and Erin. I relocated from Austin back to my hometown of Houston, Texas, only a few days before our country shutdown. The legal industry began layoffs and furloughs in late-March 2020. I became very concerned that I would never find my way back into the litigation arena. However, the tireless efforts of Jenna who has truly helped me with the transition of coming home by assisting me with finding gainful employment at a fantastic law firm. Erin was also a key player with finalizing the details for me to begin my new employment journey. I give this company and their staff the highest recommendation to anyone looking for the perfect job! I recently had a shot at my dream job, thanks to Charlotte. She was very prompt in setting up an interview with me. She got to know me and my background and knew that I was a good fit with one of her clients. Indeed, for the first time I can say that I absolutely love my job! So, Charlotte knows how to pick the right fit. If your background does not fit any one of the positions that they are trying to fill, then there is only so much they can do. Please understand that. I recommended this agency, specifically Charlotte, to a friend also. Give it a try, they might just have what you are looking for!

So. Let me start off my saying, HCP is the best staffing agency around. I know, I know, there are a few poor reviews (I’m looking at you 1 Star people) but let’s be honest with ourselves for a minute. A staffing agency will give you a job based on your qualifications and if you fit the job profile. Just because we THINK we are good for the job, doesn’t mean we ARE the BEST fit for that position. They were helpful and responsive with my application and listens and cared for my needs and interests. I have recommended people there, and they too have had positive responses. Try HCP, they’re the best and forget the rest.

Very easy to work with. I used their service almost a year ago. I was a recent college grad and was searching for employment (in my field of course). The role I went to interview for wasn't exactly my end goal, but it was at least in the right direction. They assured me that they had a relationship with this company and they were fair people, so I gave it a try. Much to my pleasure, I was offered a position in the IT department where I am now the lead programmer. (I've been with my employer less than a year). My skills and education, in combination with the resume tips I received from HOU City and the positive rapport they set with my employer was a key factor in me landing this position! I'd recommend their services. I worked closely with Abbie and she was super helpful and timely in following up and answering any questions I had.
