I been coming here since they had their old pupusaria across the street come to think about it that’s a long time! I’ve went to several places that serve pupusas but nothing compares to El Papatturo. Their pupusas are great, platano Fritos and atol de elote. I will continue to come here.
Pupusas are really good. I recommend them BUT order in advance or don't come in starving. They take forever!
Food was good, but I wouldn’t come again due to food being too pricey, I have been to other Salvadorian restaurants and they are cheaper and delicious. Service wasn’t great either.
Very disappointed that they do not offer curbside. I called and asked and the rude girl seemed bothered by my question. She said no curbside because how will you pay. I told her if I paid cash could they do curbside for me and her answer was no you will have to come inside. Since they didn't want my business and were not willing to meet a customer in the middle I took my business else where. I called La fuente pupusas on Irvington and guess what, the lady at that business said sure I will do it for you and when I asked if I had to pay cash she said which ever you prefer. If you pay with card I can bring machine out to you. La Fuente was willing to go above and beyond. Papaturro we are going through a pandemic. You should be offering curbside and meeting your customers needs. You should be doing better than that these days.
