House Of Chicken

Great food at a very good and fair price. We ordered ahead and out food was coming off the grill at the exact time. Seasoning was spot on and the rissols had crisp shells with that gorgeous warm inside, real comfort food. The wings were brilliant, rich garlic flavour and super juicy, we ordered two boxes but could happily have devoured another. The half a chicken, like the wings was so well cooked, we shared and that disappeared pretty quickly too. Will we be back? Definitely! Scored a 4 because there is more of the menu to try still and as we are in lockdown at the time of writing I don't think we got to experience all they have to offer. I suspect that once I've worked my way through more of the menu and the produce they have to offer inside I'll be bumping this score up to a 5. Excellent find in the community and well worth a visit, the staff there are lovely people too! Go check it out. No pics of the food because we were too busy eating it, that's a recommendation in itself.

The best place to eat traditional Portuguese grill chicken ; salted ham and Portuguese steak !! Miguel is fantastic person ; i totally recommend the trip from London amazing prices with best quality ever . Next time we will try francesinha!!

Black pudding sausage is really good. Chicken is great too. Not so found of the pork belly though. They sell the chilli oil to go with the chicken. It is nice and spicy!

Booking a table in advance is required if you’re planning to visit at weekends. We received a warm welcome, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. My only minor gripe would be that the food was overly salty.
