There are several reasons why I don't go to Specsavers or one of the other main stream retailers, the main one being - I DONT NEED TOO! The service you get here is first class, they offer a great range of products at a reasonable price and most importantly - they are open, honest and always friendly! Cant recommend them enough.

I have recently purchased my first pair of glasses at Houghtons, the guys were extremely helpful from the first call to book my eye test to taking my glasses back to get fixed up when I moved the lenses a few weeks after! 5*

I am so pleased with the service I have just received, absolutely first class. Very thorough test from Ian the optometrist, great help with choosing new frames from Paula and a friendly welcome from everyone else. Great choice of frames and lenses. Having worn specs for over 50 years I know what a difference it makes to feel confident and happy with the test, choice and service. Highly recommended.
