I found out about this place by accident, and decided to try them. I ordered over the phone and drove to collect, rather than wait for a delivery. I was VERY happy with the food. it was piping hot, and tasted good. The batter on the haddock was perfect. The mushy peas and curry sauce were really good. Battered sausage and smoked sausage were perfect. I have lived here over 20 years and this is the best fish&chips I have had in the area. It is 1-2 miles further than one of their competitors but well worth the extra couple of minutes. There is a large car park immediately next to Hosie's. My first visit, but definitely will not be my last. I would recommend giving them a try.
