Very enjoyable few hours at the stud and on a trip out in to the national park to see the horsemen, cattle and buffalo. The guide shared stories in Hungarian and English.

Touristy (of course) but still very informative and fun even. Can recommend.
It was really fun to take a horse-carriage tour to see many Hungarian wild animals on the huge grassland.The whole tour took almost 1 hour.There were so many cattles ,sheeps and buffalos around us,and we also saw the Hungarian traditional horse performance.We are the only foreigner though,the tour guide introduced the whole tour in English for us with patient and kindness.If you gonna travel to Hortobágy, just don't miss this lovely place.:）

The only part of Hortobagy which was worth an entry fee (in late October, it could be better in other parts in summer). Their horses are beautiful. Carriage ride is OK.
