One of the best “bife na pedra” (steak on the stone) I have ever had! Very tender and with a perfect cut!! The sauces are not the best ever but the meat and fish are superb. The steak stone will cost you at least 15 , not the cheapest for Faial standards but worth it!! Note: The restaurant is specialised and only servers hot stone dishes (both meat and fish). The customer grills the dish themselves.

Quick, courteous service, excellent English spoken by the servers. Cooking your own meat or fish on a hot stone at your table is cool. Lots of options for fish or meats or combinations. We ate there twice. The house-made peanut butter ice cream was awesome.
It's all about the lava stones, the food is only okay...
Just finished a wonderful group dinner for 13 persons. Great service. Good ingredients. Since you cook yourself on a hot stone .. don't blame the chef
