Fantastic day out! We came using tickets bought for us for our joint birthday. We came later in the day (11am), for us, and found plenty of parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds have so much to explore and we barely touched on what there has to offer so we will be back. The cafe also has a good amount of vegan options which was great to see and even better to try!

Beautiful established Garden. Best in Spring when all the plentiful rhododendrons are in flower. It’s a great walk walking lake to lake, each different to the next. You can spot some large dragonflies and huge carp. The deer are pretty elusive. You can see wallabies, chickens, horses and honey bees, the kids loved exploring. There is a cafe and and cool courtyard spot to sit and eat and drink.

What a beautiful best kept secret to visit ! I had never heard of this place before until I searched up places to visit in Surrey. And what can I say it was fantastic, gorgeous and tranquil! The gardens have been kept so well and looked after by all the staff and volunteers who work there it’s such a wonderful experience to take in ! Visited here on 12/9/2020 and it was a gorgeous day , we saw the feeding of the wallabies and was given so much in-site to their way of life and feeding habits this was great for the kids and even the adults as their is rare albino wallabies and cheeky but playful baby joeys hopping around to see as well . Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the deer but did see chickens and peacocks and many insects / wildlife (small creatures) and many different wild birds flying around . The lakes here and gardens are so impressive I forgot we were in Horsham.... wonderful place to go for a picnic or a day out with the kids . It’s so dog friendly ,there is a cafe which provides fresh water and a jar of free dog treats which my dog loved . We also got driven around by this wonderful volunteer in a golf buggy which was free of charge , this was great for my mum as she can’t walk to far nor climb to many stairs . So thank you , the driver was such a gentleman and was very informative about the areas we visited ! A must go visit in the summer and all seasons , I will definitely be visiting in the winter to experience the atmosphere and hopefully see the lazy deer hiding away lol . Well done to everyone who works there ! Great place , the family loved it !

Gorgeous grounds, gardens and lakes. Something for everyone. I have been spring and summer, which are wonderful, but autumn is breathtaking! Great for families, older people and romantic walks. Great facilities, cafe, toilets, plant shop and gift shop. Easy to get to by road and ample parking. Plan a day out with lunch at the cafe and casual stroll across the walks and gardens, wallabies and doll house display.

This was during Leonardslee Illuminated on 20th December 2020. A word of advice for those less able bodied: it's hilly! I only have osteoarthritis and I found it really tough in places. We'd visited Wakehurst the year before, which is pretty flat, especially in comparison. However, a lovely night was had, and the traditional fun fair and Christmas market were fabulous.
