FANTASTIC!!! When we ordered our cabin we had no idea of what we were doing. We had just had an extremely bad experience when we had ordered a summerhouse from a previous suppler. It was horrendous but fortunately we had received a full refund due to poor quality. We felt really concerned about following our dream of a garden room and then we came across Horton Group log cabins. They felt just right for us. How right we were. The website was fantastic but as I had a few queries I gave them a call. I Instantly felt confident that I was going to receive a quality product. I was happy to follow advice and so pleased I did. The process was seamless. I was contacted at all relevant stages and kept informed of the build. I was advised of the delivery date and the delivery driver was nothing short of amazing. He rang the day before to advise of the delivery time and was so pleasant and cheerful. When he arrived he was just as amazing. Friendly, professional and he couldn’t have been more helpful So the logs arrived. Omg how were us two going to turn all this wood into our dream garden room. Well far easier than we could ever have thought!! We checked we had all materials and we were on a roll!!!! The walls went up so quickly, even the neighbours commented how quickly it went up. Yes it did become more challenging but all was good apart from the weather!!!!! We now have a wonderful garden room built with no professional help. The quality is absolutely amazing. Far better than we could have dreamed of.

We decided to purchase and erect a log cabin as our 2020 lockdown project. After some extensive research, we came back to Hortons website because we were attracted to their log cabin design software. They have an excellent tool which allows you to design a log cabin to your exact requirements so you can see exactly what you’re getting. Knowing next to nothing about log cabins at the time, I had a few questions and would ring or email Keith who would always get back to me. The log cabin we designed would be manufactured by Lugarde. We opted for thicker logs, double doors and tilt and turn windows and I have to say the build quality is second to none. If there was one slight drawback I'd say it was the Lugarde installation instructions, whilst good, they weren't the best in my opinion because it was all diagram based with no actual written instructions. However, they were clear enough for us to be able to persevere. They also had some useful videos which were a great help. On the couple of occasions where we were a little stumped, a quick email to Keith and our queries were quickly resolved. The ordering process via Hortons was very easy and straightforward I spoke to Keith on a good few occasions as I had lots of questions. He was always on hand to answer and at no point did I ever feel I was being pressured into committing.to the purchase. We did a bit of research and picked up lots of useful information on treatments etc from various blogs. We decided to insulate both the floor and roof, so we could use the cabin all year round and also purchased a lovely Spruce wood floor via Hortons. We are really pleased with our log cabin and think it looks impressive. It can be daunting at first but once you get started, the build itself isn't difficult at all - you've just got to take it one step at a time. We were relaxed because we knew Hortons were just a phone call or email away. The service they provided was excellent and we would highly recommend them. .

Following an extremely successful experience last year with the purchase of a workshop we purchased a log cabin this year with great confidence in Craig and Kieth. Once again we continually visited Craig at the display centre and were pleased that his great performance last year was not a one-off. He has been extremely helpful, patient and open with us. We like the way that he makes suggestuions when we were clearly dithering and there is no hard sell. He just says it as it is. The erection team were as good as last time - making adjustments where necessary without fuss - due to a slightly out-of-level base. The log cabin is of very high quality and we are impressed by its level of insulation in recent very hot weather. We did have a minor problem with door bolts but received replacements immediately. Great after-sales service. We are really impressed with this building. It blends beautifully with our garden. Thank you Craig and Kieth. I cannot recommend you highly enough.
