Well spaced and comfortable. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Food plentiful and tasty. Went for Christmas meal deal and enjoyed every mouthful and look forward to returning soon

Only went for some lunch here, was a nice day so sat in there garden. The pub is nice inside and quite big. Food was good. Staff were friendly. There is a play area outside for kids.
Large pub with garden on the A3054 between Yarmouth and Shalfleet. All set up for Covid safety. Surprisingly busy at lunchtime, we hadn't booked but they managed to get us a table. Ordered a Suet Pudding and Liver and Bacon which were excellent. Suspect someone had over ordered peas as never had so many served with a meal (came in a side dish). Foster's 4.20 a pint which is about the going rate.
A perfect stop with a great menu, specials, and kids options. The playground needs some attention, but was a hit with my son nevertheless. The service was fast and efficient and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely go back if we found ourselves on the Isle of Wight again.
Absolutely amazing place to dine!! Family friendly with a park for the kids ages the side of the pub. The food was excellent and very very good value for money, the portion sizes are huge!! They also offer smaller portions for those who cant eat alot or just want a smaller size. Definitely will not be disappointed with the food and atmosphere here, staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend
