I’m absolutely appalled by the service my friend received by Horgans wedding cars. I was a bridesmaid for my friend on her wedding day. The car arrived promptly ready to take us in the car to the church. So, was all going well, the driver helped guide us to the door under the umbrella as it was a wet day. After the ceremony the bride and groom left first as they wanted to get to the reception first. So, that they could greet all the wedding guests as they arrived. As they wanted to ensure that they managed to speak to everyone. So, I was shocked as I left the church about 10 minutes later after speaking with guests. To see that they were still sat in the car. We went over as I could see Lisa looked upset... the look you don’t expect to see of a bride on her wedding day. We found out the car wouldn’t start. As a bridesmaid I wanted to try and fix the problem and get the bride and groom to the reception as quickly as possible. They were offered an alternative car, at which point they had already been sat there for 20minutes. I was like ‘No, you cannot miss anymore of your wedding’!! The bride and groom were really upset as they had paid out a lot of money to ride together in a wedding car. Even though they had the option of a free Jaguar for the day. The groom specified he wanted to drive in an old fashioned car instead. My reaction to this was forget about it, the company will offer compensation as a result of you not receiving the service and you won’t be left out of pocket. Little did I know... the company believes that they fulfilled their duty and are prepared to offer nothing as a result. This is an absolute disgrace!! So, I would not recommend hiring a car for horgans... if the car breaks down, you will just have to accept it. So, not what you want for your wedding day!!
