Coffee was great the sandwich was awesome and I bought a couple of baked goods Tess the girl working at the counter apparently is there a new baker. I purchased a cranberry bog bar she makes from scratch, it was delicious!!! Prices were also reasonable! I have lived in Alaska for 40 years plus I’ve never been to Hope, I am so glad I went there it’s a neat little town and not that far from Anchorage worth the drive, beautiful scenery and Super friendly locals. I will return!!!

We’ve loved Turnagain Kayak since they opened, but the food and coffee this year are beyond wonderful. Freshly baked warm blueberry muffins, moist and still warm from the oven with plump and plentiful berries are a new favorite. And their coffee is amazing! Plus they’re super-nice folks in Hope, AK. What could be better?!?!

I took a multi-day training trip with Turnagain Kayak. We went down to Resurrection Bay, near Seward Alaska - seals, sea otters, sea lions, and orca whales thrive in this pristine environment. We had a great time and learned so much. Levi is an excellent leader and trainer. He knows how to make learning fun. One of the best parts of the trip was surfing kayaks off the beach near Bear Glacier. As we were playing on the waves, huge chunks of ice were flowing out the river. Spectacular!
