Never had a bad meal. From a traditional breakfast to omelettes to shepherds pie with roasties, its all excellent and reasonable prices. Always receive a warm welcome from the friendly staff.

Fantastic food and great service very good value for money
Food is absolutely amazing, very good portion we had! Staff is really nice and helpful! Next time we will again choose definitely Hope Cafe! New wall pictures they are really nice! 5 stars!!!!!
In the current climate not much regard for Covid 19 safety. Face masks strapped around chin for all staff. No one checking in via NHS app posters. No hand washing going on very poor social distancing. No mask or check-in enforcement. This establishment is operating a cash only system but there are no signs to say this as you go in to the cafe or at the till where you pay. I had to walk to nearest bank to get cash so I could pay. Given its cash only counter staff not washing hands between taking cash and serving or handling food. Staff engaging customers with masks dropped off of face. Everyone I saw coming in to the cafe did not wear a mask and no staff asking them to wear one on. I felt very uncomfortable. Would not go there again until Covid 19 was clear. This could have been any ordinary day outside of the Covid 19 environment and you would think it was OK but as it is a Covid 19 situation the manager should be challenged about the management of this food establishment by the authorities. I don't feel the food and drink I had was value for money because I felt I would be likely to catch Covid 19 if it were at all present in this establishment.
The food is OK. Not good, just OK. Cheap ingredients... Cheap bread, margerine, watery beans etc. However what's REALLY bad is the absolute lack of Covid hygiene. Every member of staff with masks pulled down. The waitress leaning on our table to take the order, no mask. Not cool at all. And then to top it off, only cash payment, at a time when most businesses are only taking cards to avoid spreading. Wont be going back.
