Very good restaurant with excellent food, drinks. Menus in Ukrainian and English. Every dish we had was tasty. Order of dishes was not by order we wanted, but still was very good. Started with Brain dish, pickled mushrooms, veal medallions and moved to Seburek, rabbit Stew with Zucchini and had Puffs with poppyseeds and cherry with vanilla sauce. Good local Merlot with the meal. The waitress insisted speaking Ukraine and not Russian or English. Otherwise service was very good

We dined there on 15.08.2018. just because it was a rare establishment with traditional Ukrainian food on offer in the city and had mostly good reviews. From outside place is understated and would be passed, if not set as a destination. Outdoor seating is by a busy and very loud street - we opted for a table inside. Interior in a yesteryear style is very well executed and tasteful. As for food - every dish exceeded our expectations! Presentation and (most importantly) taste of every dish was bang on! I believe they are in par with some award winning restaurants I've dined. A huge WELL DONE to the chef!!! We started with an amazingly tasty Holodnik (cold soup)! It was served in a bowl made of ice and apart from stunning look (with frozen pieces of salad and radish slices) was chilling down whilst consumed and gave a very desired respite from the heat. Chebureki - another inspired dish with fitting condiments I could have at any time of the day. Privabliva teljatina (veal) was the only dish where deliverance in flavours was dampened by a lack of tenderness in the meat. It's not a place for a quick bite and attention to the details given to each plate shows where the time has gone (not an excuse for waiting staff though). I will be happy to return here, as this understated place have made it in to my list of the best eateries I have ever visited.
