I’ve been there in 1993/1995 working as a chef in “La Scaletta” restaurant inside the Hooke Hall property. The hotel was built il 1607 and was transformed as hotel by Mr. Alistair Percy and Mrs. Juliet Percy. Award winning hotel as small hotel of the year by RAC because of his old fashioned style rooms. Nice place to remember, at that time and sadly closed and abandoned now...
