I have used this sandwich bar almost daily for 15 years and the sandwiches and salads are freshly made to order with an amazing choice and never disappointing. There is sometimes a queue. This is because it is so popular with its regulars. I do not know why some idiot would need a credit card to buy sandwich costing under 3. They obviously have a financial crisis. There is also a cash facility next door at the Post Office.

Really disappointing. No social distancing, no enforcing of Face Masks. Must have been 4 people in the shop (customers) without any covering plus 4 members of staff (appreciate they're exempt). Ordered a panini also but this was inedible, tasted foul and was like someone had used paper rather than grease proof whilst on the grill!
So after queuing for 20 mins we get to the front to be told no cards, cash only. Really? in this day and age. A busy busy shop, who also do corporate luncheons, don't take cards... No sign on the door, no sign in the shop - only one about allergies and singing and dancing.. Must be VAT related.. So we buggered off to MC Donald's instead. Very nice, chicken legion, chips and a milk shake.. tastier than Tom Hardy in the thong x
All manner of fillings for rolls, sandwiches, baps or jacket potatoes. Friendly service. WARNING: Cash Only, no cards taken.
