Bought a really lovely van from these guys last summer. 15k paid the price on the forecourt cash. Was told that it would be ready to pick up in a couple of days after it had had its 102 point safety check and MOT. To my surprise last week when I had broken down, rung the AA, to be told your MOT is out of date by 3 months, so I was right royally stuffed. They offered to provide the MOT for me then as they hadnt done at the time, but i had been towed to a garage local to me for the work and had it done there and then. Andrew certainly talks the talk, but he don't walk the walk Why would I pay 15000 for a vehicle and say ah don't worry about putting 12 months MOT on it!!!?\ Answer is I didn't. Days wages and cost of MOT lost because they tried to pull a fast one. Van is lovely, service somewhat lacking. I would like the cost of the mot re imbursed to me. Spoke with andrew yesterday and he had no explanation why it didnt have mot as it took 3 days from purchase to collect.

Great service and seriously helpful attitude. I bought a secondhand car and 10 days later after some heavy rain I opened the driver’s door to find a small lake in the footwell – there was clearly a water ingress problem somewhere. This was not covered by the warranty, so Otter took the car back, diagnosed the fault to the sunroof and replaced all the seals FOC and kept smiling throughout the whole process (which was not straightforward as the part had been superceded). I was very impressed, and I will certainly be buying my next vehicle from Otter.
