A friend of mine (a honkonger) took me to this restaurant. The service was amicable and the interior of the restaurant was not too flashy but very relaxing with pale tones for table cloths and walls. The food my friend ordered was so lovely that I asked some of the food to be packed in takeaway box for my partner. My partner and I visited this restaurant again before we moved to Tokyo. We loved the fact they strive to serve classic Cantonese dish with excellent culinary skills and not dependent on using colourful decoration or presentation.
Traditional Shanghainese restaurant for tea soaked shrimps, stir fried leeks with mutton, bitter gourd with marinated minced pork. Pricing is around 300 per person for 2 dishes with noodles. Pricey for the décor but hard to find above average Shanghainese food nowadays apart from Hangzhou restaurant (in Wanchai) and Chekiang restaurant (Central, for members only).
Its a very good restaurants, it moved for a few times. The food still maintains great quality. You can see all the staff loves the food and they are pride of the dishes they presented! I enjoyed a great time with my parents and uncle. Sorry the pictures is half eaten, but they Are so delicious!
