Some coworkers and myself went to have lunch to celebrate a birthday of one of our coworkers and when our order was taken we were not asked if we wanted cornbread or rolls, what kind of gravy on our food none of the questions that should be asked. They literally brought out what they wanted. We never got any refills and literally had to hunt the waiter down for mediocre service. The restaurant was not busy and I’ve had way better service from them, none of us were happy with our service and if a place will treat people like that I will spend my money elsewhere. Please work on customer service because it’s horrible but they made it their duty to only check on us when it was to to give the bill. I will not be back.

This is a nice country cooking restaurant. I ordered a foot long chili dog that was dressed w/ cheese onions and slaw on the side. It was pretty good, compared to Sonic’s chili dogs. The chili did taste a little sweeter than I’d like but it wasn’t bad. I’d dine here again.

Pretty good home cooking, but there restaurant as a whole is a little dirty. That didn't matter when it came to the taste of the food.

We’re from out of town, we’ve been taking our son to children’s (he has osteogenesis imperfecta). We came in 30 minutes before close, unaware that they were about to close. We planned on leaving a bigger tip considering we felt bothersome, but the attitude of the waitress quickly made us rethink feeling bad. She was an older lady, she did not give us the time to talk when we ordered, she kept walking off as soon as SHE was done talking. She was huffy and impolite. Not just to us but to other customers in the establishment. Tossing the silverware packages down on the table all rude like. Just very short and unprofessional. I’ve had training in customer service before — I understand the frustration of customers before close — but you are never supposed to be that disgusting to customers. So before you come here beware the wicked witch of Homers East.
