I have recently started with home instead, what a fantastic team!! Iv met so many lovely members of the team the support is outstanding along with the clients I’m helping to support. It really is a pleasure to come to work Thank you for this opportunity in a new career as a caregiver .

I worked for Home Instead and I absolutely loved it. The rapport that I built with my clients was wonderful. Everyone in the office are really helpful and supportive. I only left due to relocation, I still miss everyone. I honestly felt like I made a real difference to my client's everyday lives and it is such a rewarding role. Noel & Vanessa are always there if you need them, they have a great team.
My sister and I can't thank Home Instead enough. Sadly, our dad passed away suddenly in September. He had been caring for mum superbly. We were faced not only with the shock and grief of losing our dear dad but also how mum was going to be cared for. To be honest, we were completely overwhelmed by the situation we found ourselves in. We contacted Home Instead and explained our situation. They were superb; they managed to get caregivers in extremely quickly and without much notice. This gave us the time and space to sort out all that we needed to in terms of dad's passing. Very quickly, it became patently obvious that we'd made the best decision we could have made, not only for us, but for mum too. Each and every caregiver has been amazing with mum; their genuine care and compassion has taken away a huge burden of worry from us. Simply put, the ladies who come are wonderful and we know that when we are not with mum, we don't need to worry as we know she is in safe, caring hands. Mum looks forward to the ladies coming...we do too. Thank you Home Instead for being there for mum when we can't.
I work for home instead senior care and I love my job. Its so rewarding making a difference to our clients day in any way we can. A hours visit might consist of a walk in the fresh air, shopping, cooking, a hot foot soak and massage, help with taking medication or playing a game. We can help with anything to help brighten their day. I like to tell my clients that \ I will look after you as well as I would want someone to look after my own parents.
I’ve been working for Home Instead in Taunton for 2 years. What makes a real difference working for this company is how appreciated I feel as a caregiver not only by my lovely clients and their families but also by our amazing management and all office team. They are always there to support all our wonderful caregivers even through these challenging times 2020 has thrown upon us. I would recommend to anyone who is looking to use or work for Home Instead in Taunton.
