We've used Home from Home on several occasions now and I can highly recommend the service. From taking our booking over the phone to the care and attention that Denny gives to our dogs, is really amazing. The dogs are clearly well loved and looked after during their stay. Lots of photos as well - which is a lovely touch. They certainly behave as if it's a home from home!!

I used Home From Home whilst I was moving. They were amazing. Found the perfect place for my little terror. Being able to meet them with your dog before you commit to the booking is fantastic. Highly recommend and definitely be using them again.
I cannot praise this company enough! I had a 3 week visit planned to NZ and less than 2 weeks before I was due to go my own dog sitter was taken very ill, as soon as I got in touch with Home from Home Dog Boarding my initial panic subsided, I had the added problem that one of my dogs suffers from Separation Anxiety and cannot be left alone... I was put in touch with a lovely couple that assured me they wouldn’t leave Murphy on his own... as soon as I met them I had a great feeling that my dogs were in very safe hands... they were walked twice a day and loved there stay with Colin and Stephanie, I was sent pics and updates and totally relaxed on my holiday.... it was the perfect outcome and I will definitely be using them again in the future :)
This company took deposits prior to the Covid lockdown and when they were unable to full fill the terms of their contract (due to the Government restrictions) have refused to give refunds! They are holding 108 and will not take calls or reply to emails to discuss. I am having to take action against this company for illegally holding monies when they were unable to keep to their own terms and conditions.
When I visited the first potential boarding home matched up by Home from Home with my dog, it was an older single guy on a kind of scrubby housing estate who had clearly been smoking cannabis recently, the smell was overpowering - not a great start. Also, it was extremely hot weather at this time and his house was a heat trap, it was sweltering, my dog had a thick coat and would have been seriously in danger of overheating. The environment was totally unsuitable for any dog in this weather and I would not have left mine there in 100 years, it was awkward and I was really shocked. I had nowhere else to go at short notice but luckily they found another family, quite a long way away but much more normal and they were OK. Just be careful you do your own careful vetting, because I'm not convinced they do!
